Issued 4:00 PM PST 2 December 2020 Tonight and Thursday At 4:00 p.m. PST today frontal system located over Bowie.
By 9:30 p.m. PST tonight quasi-stationary frontal system located
on a line north-south over Hecate Strait.

At 4:00 p.m. PST today quasi-stationary ridge located over southern
BC interior.

At 6:00 a.m. PST Thursday low located west of the offshore waters.
By 4:00 p.m. PST Thursday low located west of Haida Gwaii.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:49 PM PST 2 December 2020 A frontal system stretched from the North Coast to Northern Vancouver
Island will stall tonight. The front will continue to generate gale
to storm force southeasterlies tonight and Thursday.

On Thursday, an area of low pressure will approach central waters and
should reach Haida Gwaii by Thursday evening. Gale to storm force
southerlies are expected in the vicinity of this area of low
pressure.
