northeast-southwest over Vancouver Island.
By 4:00 a.m. PST Friday departing cold front located on a line
northeast-southwest over Vancouver.

At 4:00 p.m. PST today trough located on a line northeast-southwest
over Haida Gwaii.
By 4:00 a.m. PST Friday trough located from the North Coast to
Explorer.

At midnight PST Friday approaching ridge from high located on a
line northeast-southwest over the Gulf of Alaska.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:51 PM PST 12 February 2026 A low pressure centre over the Alaska Panhandle will continue to move
inland this evening. In its wake, gale to strong southwesterly winds
over Northern Bowie and Dixon Entrance will gradually ease tonight.
A trough currently located west of Southern Bowie will track
eastward, reaching the North Coast tonight. Strong to gale force
southwesterly winds are expected in its wake, easing after midnight.
