Issued 9:30 PM PDT 16 October 2019 Tonight and Thursday At 9:30 p.m. PDT tonight frontal system located from the Central
Coast to Explorer.
By 4:00 a.m. PDT Thursday departing frontal system located over
southern Vancouver Island.

At 4:00 a.m. PDT Thursday trough located west of the offshore
waters.
By 4:00 p.m. PDT Thursday trough located from Hecate Strait to
Vancouver Island.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:09 PM PDT 16 October 2019 A front stretching from the Central Coast to Explorer will move
across the inner South Coast midday Thursday. Gale force southeast
winds ahead of the front will shift to strong to gale force
westerlies in its wake.

On Thursday, an intense trough will cross into most marine waters
bringing strong to gale force southerlies. Gale to storm force
westerlies are expected in its wake.
