Issued 9:19 PM PDT 29 June 2026 A ridge of high pressure west of the offshore waters will continue togenerate strong northwesterly winds across most marine areas, with
local northwest gale force winds off the west coast of Vancouver
Island and through Johnstone Strait.
As the ridge strengthens slightly, northwest gale force winds will
continue across central and parts of the northern waters before
diminishing to strong.
