Issued 4:00 AM PDT 16 October 2019 Today Tonight and Thursday At 4:00 a.m. PDT today quasi-stationary frontal system located on
a line north-south over central Vancouver Island.

At 4:00 a.m. PDT today frontal system located over Explorer.
By 10:30 a.m. PDT today departing frontal system located on a line
north-south over central Vancouver Island.

At 4:00 a.m. PDT today low located west of Bowie.
By 4:00 p.m. PDT today low located west of Haida Gwaii.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 4:07 AM PDT 16 October 2019 A frontal system stretching over Vancouver Island will remain
stationary today. Strong to gale force southeasterly winds will
prevail the inner South Coast waters today.

Another front will cross the offshore waters this evening and
approach the northern and central mainland coasts overnight then move
through the South Coast on Wednesday. Gale force southeast winds will
be generated by the front.

On Thursday, another frontal system will cross into central and
northern waters bringing southerly gales.
