interior.

At 10:30 a.m. PST today frontal system located on a line north-south
over Bowie.
By 4:00 a.m. PST Tuesday dissipating frontal system located over
Hecate Strait.

At 10:30 a.m. PST today low located west of Explorer.
By 11:00 p.m. PST tonight low 1012 mb located over Queen Charlotte
Sound.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 10:34 AM PST 11 December 2017 A front will remain on a line north-south west of Haida Gwaii today.
Marginal gale force southerly winds will prevail over most central
and northern waters. The front is forecast to intensify tonight as
It makes its way across the coast, with strong to gale force
southeasterlies expected ahead of the frontal passage until early
Tuesday morning.

Also this evening, a weak low pressure centre moves from west of
Explorer to Queen Charlotte Sound. Strong to gale force
southeasterlies will precede this system, and strong to gale force
westerlies will follow behind it.

Another front will approach the offshore waters Tuesday morning.
Gale force southerly winds will develop over most northern waters on
Tuesday ahead of the front.
