By 10:30 a.m. PST Thursday weakening frontal system located from
the North Coast to Vancouver Island.
At 4:00 p.m. PST Thursday approaching frontal system located west
of Bowie.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 9:27 PM PST 29 November 2023 A cold front over Bowie will track east to lie north-south fromHecate Strait to the west coast of Vancouver Island by Thursday
morning, where it will gradually weaken. Gale force southerlies ahead
of the front will shift to strong to gale force westerlies behind it.
The winds will fall below gales Thursday as the front weakens.
Another frontal system will approach Bowie late in the day on
Thursday. Southeast gales will begin to develop late Thursday
afternoon ahead of the system across Bowie and Explorer.
