By 4:00 a.m. PST Thursday departing trough located from the North
Coast to the Central Coast then to Cape Scott.

At 9:30 p.m. PST tonight trough located west of Bowie.
By 4:00 p.m. PST Thursday departing trough located off Haida Gwaii.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:03 PM PST 11 December 2024 A trough of low pressure off Haida Gwaii will track the north and
Central Coast Thursday morning. Ahead of the trough, strong to gale
force southeasterlies will continue tonight over most outer waters
and Queen Charlotte Strait.

In its wake, winds will shift to strong to westerly gales over the
offshore waters, northern and central waters tonight through Thursday
morning.
