Issued 4:00 PM PDT 5 October 2024 Tonight and Sunday At 4:00 p.m. PDT today quasi-stationary frontal system located
over the Central Coast.

By 9:30 p.m. PDT tonight approaching frontal system located west
of the offshore waters.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:38 PM PDT 5 October 2024 A nearly stationary front over the Central Coast is bringing a swath
of southerly gales over Eastern Queen Charlotte Sound, Central Coast
and west coast Vancouver Island. These winds will persist for the
remainder of the forecast period.

Another frontal system will approach tonight, bringing southerly
gales to offshore waters overnight and spreading gales into northern
and central waters throughout the day on Sunday. Localized storm
force southerly winds are expected near the headlands of west coast
Vancouver Island Sunday evening.
