Queen Charlotte Sound.
By 9:30 p.m. PDT Wednesday ridge located on a line
northeast-southwest over southern Vancouver Island.

At 4:00 a.m. PDT Wednesday frontal system located west of Bowie.
By 9:30 p.m. PDT Wednesday frontal system located on a line
north-south over Queen Charlotte Sound.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:15 PM PDT 22 October 2019 A developing frontal system well offshore will move into Bowie
Wednesday morning. The front will then cross Haida Gwaii late in
The day.

Over northern waters winds will rise to strong to gale force
southeast Wednesday morning then to gale to storm force southeast in
the afternoon. Winds will ease to moderate to strong westerly in the
wake of the front. Over central waters winds will rise to southeast
gales Wednesday afternoon.
