over southern Vancouver Island.

At 4:00 p.m. PDT today frontal system located west of the offshore
waters.
By 10:30 a.m. PDT Saturday frontal system located near Haida Gwaii.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:46 PM PDT 17 April 2026 An approaching frontal system will bring southeasterly gales to the
offshore waters late this afternoon through tonight.

On Saturday, as the system slowly moves eastward, southeasterly gales
will spread across most marine regions except the inner South Coast.
