By 9:30 p.m. PDT Friday ridge located from Bowie to the North Coast.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:07 PM PDT 23 May 2024 A trough over Northern Vancouver Island will continue to move
southeastward tonight. Ahead of the trough, southeast gales near the
headlands of Vancouver Island will ease late this evening.

A building ridge of high pressure west of the offshore waters will
lie over Bowie by Friday evening. Ahead of the ridge, northwest gales
will develop over West Coast Vancouver Island South on Friday
