Issued 4:00 PM PDT 23 September 2020 Tonight and Thursday At 4:00 p.m. PDT today cold front located on a line north-south
over the South Coast.
By 8:00 p.m. PDT tonight departing cold front located over the
Lower Mainland.

At 4:00 p.m. PDT today low 982 mb located west of Bowie.
By 4:00 p.m. PDT Thursday weakening low 988 mb located north
of Bowie.

At 10:00 p.m. PDT Thursday deepening low 996 mb located over
southern Explorer.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:50 PM PDT 23 September 2020 A cold front over the South Coast will move inland late this
afternoon. A 982 millibar low west of Bowie will move northeastward
to the west of the Alaska Panhandle Thursday.

Strong to gale force southeasterlies east of the front will ease
To moderate to strong southerlies late this afternoon. Strong
southwesterlies offshore will rise to gale force tonight as the low
moves northeastward then ease to moderate to strong Thursday
afternoon.

A developing low is forecast to approach Vancouver Island Thursday
night and Friday morning. Ahead of the low, southeast gales are
forecast to develop over the southern waters Thursday night.
