Technical Marine Synopsis

Issued 9:30 PM PST 21 November 2024 Tonight and Friday At 9:30 p.m. PST tonight departing low located west of the offshore
waters.

At 9:30 p.m. PST tonight deepening low 989 mb located south of
Explorer.
By 4:00 p.m. PST Friday storm 978 mb located off Vancouver Island.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:23 PM PST 21 November 2024 The next low moves up the Oregon and Washington coast tonight and
into Southern Explorer Friday morning. The low will lie west of
Vancouver Island Friday afternoon.

Gale to storm force southerly to southeasterly winds will develop
over southern waters ahead of the low, while northerly gales are
expected in its wake. Southeasterly gales will also spread into the
inner South Coast on Friday.

Additionally, strong to gale force outflow winds through mainland
inlets of the North and Central Coasts will strengthen to gale to
storm force on Friday.
