Issued 4:00 AM PST 5 December 2025 Today Tonight and Saturday At 4:00 a.m. PST today frontal system located on a linenorthwest-southeast over eastern Queen Charlotte Sound.
By 10:30 a.m. PST today departing frontal system located over the
Central Coast.
At 4:00 a.m. PST today low 998 mb located over western Bowie.
By 4:00 p.m. PST today low 996 mb located over Hecate Strait.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 3:49 AM PST 5 December 2025 A frontal system will track onto the mainland coast this morning.Ahead of the front, strong to gale force southeast winds will persist
over the northern and central waters this morning. In its wake, winds
will shift to southwest gales.
The trailing low pressure centre will cross Bowie this morning and
move to lie over Hecate Strait this afternoon. Strong to gale force
easterlies are forecast north of the low. Behind the low, gale to
storm force westerlies will develop over the offshore waters this
morning. Gale force west to northwest winds are forecast this
afternoon west of Vancouver Island and through Juan de Fuca Strait.
