Technical Marine Synopsis

Issued 10:30 AM PST 15 January 2025 Today Tonight and Thursday At 10:30 a.m. PST today frontal system located over Bowie.
By 4:00 p.m. PST today departing frontal system located from the
North Coast to Cape St. James then to Explorer.

At 4:00 p.m. PST Thursday approaching ridge located west of the
offshore waters.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 10:30 AM PST 15 January 2025 An approaching frontal system will track across the northern waters
today and onto the North Coast this evening. Ahead of the front, gale
to storm force southerlies over the northern and offshore waters will
spread to central waters later this morning. In the wake of the low,
winds will gradually shift to strong to gale force westerly today
through tonight before easing Thursday morning.
