Technical Marine Synopsis

Issued 9:30 PM PDT 16 June 2021 Tonight and Thursday At 9:30 p.m. PDT tonight frontal system located over eastern Bowie.
By 4:00 a.m. PDT Thursday weakening frontal system located over
Haida Gwaii.

At 9:30 p.m. PDT tonight quasi-stationary ridge located on a line
north-south over southeastern Explorer.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:03 PM PDT 16 June 2021 A frontal system is crossing the Bowie region this evening.

Ahead of the front, strong to gale force southeasterly winds have
developed over Bowie and west coast Haida Gwaii. The gales will ease
near midnight as the frontal system moves over Haida Gwaii while
weakening.
