By 4:00 p.m. PDT Tuesday weakening frontal system located over
Haida Gwaii.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:32 AM PDT 2 June 2025 A ridge of high pressure offshore will move slowly eastward towards
the central waters on Tuesday. Strong to gale force northwesterly
winds west of Vancouver Island and in Johnstone Strait are expected
to persist through tonight. Northwest gales will persist over west
coast Vancouver Island on Tuesday.
