Heavy snow and blowing snow continue. What: - Challenging driving conditions due to rapidly accumulating snow. - 20 cm of snow additional snow is expected through early Sunday. - Near-zero visibility in blowing snow. Where: South Klondike Highway and Haines Road. When: Tonight, and into Sunday. Remarks: Heavy snow will combine with strong outflow winds to create blowing snow. Snowfall rates will remain high while increasing outflow winds will deteriorate driving conditions even further overnight. Conditions are expected to be the poorest near White Pass and south of Chilkat Pass, and improve slightly over the northern sections of the highways towards Carcross and Haines Junction. Travellers are advised to take extra caution, or delay any unnecessary travel. Travel will likely be challenging. Visibility will likely be suddenly reduced to near zero at times. Road closures are possible. Consider postponing non-essential travel and outdoor activities until conditions improve. Please continue to monitor alerts and forecasts issued by Environment Canada.   • Add to shortcuts
    • Go to the desired page on the site, open the Weather shortcuts menu and click on the "Add to shortcuts" button

    • Click on the "Rename" button and change the link name
    • Click the enter or tab key
    • Click on the "Close" button to save the change
  • Keyboard navigation
    • Use the Tab key to move to a button or link
    • Use the Enter key to click on buttons or links
    • Organize shortcuts navigation
      • Use the ↑ Up key to select the link above. If none are selected, it will select the first link.
      • Use the ↓ Down key to select the link below. If none are selected, it will select the last link.
      • Use the Page Up key to move a selection up in the list.
      • Use the Page Down key to move a selection down in the list.
  • Restore default list

    Warning: Clicking on the button below will remove all your customized links.
