Snowfall with total amounts of 15 to 20 cm is expected. A low pressure system will bring heavy accumulating snow to portions of central Manitoba on Wednesday. While some communities may see reduced snowfall accumulation, travel may be difficult, especially to the north. There will also be a risk of freezing rain for some communities. What: 10-20 cm of snow. Where: From The Pas and Flin Flon eastward to the Ontario border. When: Beginning overnight in the west, lasting through Wednesday and ending Wednesday night in the east. Travel will likely be challenging. Prepare for quickly changing and deteriorating travel conditions. Prepare for possible disruptions to transportation, services, and utilities. Snowfall warnings are issued when significant impacts are expected due to snowfall accumulations. Please continue to monitor alerts and forecasts issued by Environment Canada.
