Wave height forecasts for Eastern Nunavut issued by Environment
Canada at 5:00 p.m. EDT Wednesday 20 June 2018 for tonight and
Thursday.
The next scheduled forecast will be issued at 5:00 a.m. EDT Thursday.

Forecast values are combined wind wave and swell heights. Highest
waves may be more than twice forecast values. Wave heights may vary
considerably due to shoreline and depth effects.

East Davis - northern half.
Outside the ice edge seas 1 metre.

East Davis - southern half.
Outside the ice edge seas 1 metre.

Cumberland.
Over open water seas 1 metre or less.

West Brevoort - northern half.
Mainly ice covered.

West Brevoort - southern half.
Mainly ice covered.

Central Brevoort - northern half.
Outside the ice edge seas 1 metre building to 2 to 3 Thursday
morning.

Central Brevoort - southern half.
Outside the ice edge seas 3 to 4 metres subsiding to 1 to 2 Thursday
evening.

East Brevoort - northern half.
Seas 1 metre building to 3 late this evening.

East Brevoort - southern half.
Seas 3 metres building to 4 this evening then subsiding to 2 to 3
Thursday evening.

Frobisher Bay.
Seas 1 metre or less.

West Clyde - northern half
West Clyde - southern half
East Clyde - northern half
East Clyde - southern half
West Davis - northern half
West Davis - southern half.
Forecasts have not yet started for the season.
