Wave height forecasts for Labrador issued by Environment Canada at
6:00 a.m. NDT Tuesday 22 October 2024 for today tonight and
Wednesday.
The next scheduled forecast will be issued at 6:00 p.m. NDT.

Forecast values are combined wind wave and swell heights. Highest
waves may be more than twice forecast values. Wave heights may vary
considerably due to shoreline and depth effects.

South Labrador Coast.
Seas 2 to 3 metres building to 3 to 4 near noon then subsiding to 2
to 3 this evening. Seas subsiding to 1 to 2 Wednesday evening.

Mid Labrador Coast.
Seas 2 to 3 metres building to 3 to 4 this morning then subsiding to
2 to 3 this evening except 1 to 2 over northern sections overnight
and Wednesday morning. Seas subsiding to 1 to 2 Wednesday evening.

North Labrador Coast.
Seas 1 to 2 metres except 3 to 4 over northern sections. Seas
building to 3 to 4 this morning then subsiding to 2 to 3 this
afternoon and to 1 to 2 near midnight.

South Labrador Sea.
Seas 2 to 3 metres building to 3 to 5 this morning then subsiding to
2 to 3 Wednesday morning. Seas building to 3 to 4 Wednesday evening.

Northwest Labrador Sea.
Seas 3 to 5 metres subsiding to 2 to 3 late overnight except 1 to 2
over northern sections Wednesday.

East Labrador Sea - northern half.
Seas 2 to 3 metres.

East Labrador Sea - southern half.
Seas 2 to 3 metres building to 3 to 5 near noon then subsiding to 2
to 3 Wednesday morning.
