at 6:00 a.m. NST Wednesday 18 December 2024 for today tonight and
Thursday.
The next scheduled forecast will be issued at 6:00 p.m. NST.

Forecast values are combined wind wave and swell heights. Highest
waves may be more than twice forecast values. Wave heights may vary
considerably due to shoreline and depth effects.

Strait of Belle Isle.
Seas 2 to 3 metres subsiding to 1 this afternoon.

Northeast Gulf
Gulf - Port au Port.
Seas 2 to 3 metres subsiding to 1 to 2 this afternoon.

Southwest Coast.
Seas 2 to 3 metres subsiding to 1 to 2 late overnight then building
to 2 to 3 Thursday evening.

South Coast.
Seas 3 to 4 metres subsiding to 2 to 3 this morning and to 1 to 2
Thursday morning. Seas building to 3 to 4 Thursday evening.

East Coast - Cape St. Francis and south.
Seas 3 to 4 metres subsiding to 2 to 3 this evening then building to
3 to 4 Thursday evening.

East Coast - north of Cape St. Francis.
Seas 2 to 3 metres subsiding to 1 to 2 this evening.

Northeast Coast.
Seas 2 to 3 metres subsiding to 1 to 2 this morning.

Belle Isle Bank.
Seas 3 to 4 metres subsiding to 2 to 3 this afternoon.

Funk Island Bank.
Seas 3 to 4 metres subsiding to 2 to 3 this evening and to 1 to 2
Thursday morning.

Northern Grand Banks.
Seas 2 to 3 metres building to 3 to 4 this morning then subsiding to
2 to 3 this evening. Seas building to 3 to 4 Thursday evening.

Southeastern Grand Banks.
Seas 1 to 2 metres building to 2 to 3 this morning and to 3 to 4 this
afternoon. Seas subsiding to 2 to 3 this evening then building to 3
to 5 Thursday evening.

Southwestern Grand Banks.
Seas 2 to 3 metres building to 3 to 4 this morning then subsiding to
2 to 3 this evening. Seas building to 3 to 5 Thursday evening.
