Wave height forecasts for Newfoundland issued by Environment Canada
at 6:00 p.m. NDT Sunday 30 March 2025 for tonight and Monday.
The next scheduled forecast will be issued at 6:00 a.m. NDT Monday.

Forecast values are combined wind wave and swell heights. Highest
waves may be more than twice forecast values. Wave heights may vary
considerably due to shoreline and depth effects.

Strait of Belle Isle
Northeast Gulf.
Outside the ice edge seas 1 metre or less.

Gulf - Port au Port.
Seas 1 metre building to 1 to 2 Monday afternoon and to 2 to 3 Monday
evening.

Southwest Coast.
Seas 2 metres subsiding to 1 Monday morning then building to 2 to 3
Monday evening.

South Coast
East Coast - Cape St. Francis and south.
Seas 1 to 2 metres building to 2 to 3 this evening then subsiding to
1 to 2 Monday morning.

East Coast - north of Cape St. Francis.
Seas 1 to 2 metres.

Northeast Coast.
Outside the ice edge seas 1 metre.

Belle Isle Bank.
Outside the ice edge seas 2 to 3 metres.

Funk Island Bank.
Outside the ice edge seas 1 to 2 metres except 2 to 3 over eastern
sections.

Northern Grand Banks
Southeastern Grand Banks.
Seas 2 to 3 metres subsiding to 2 Monday afternoon.

Southwestern Grand Banks.
Seas 2 to 3 metres subsiding to 2 Monday morning.
