Wave height forecasts for Newfoundland issued by Environment Canada
at 6:00 p.m. NDT Saturday 22 September 2018 for tonight and Sunday.
The next scheduled forecast will be issued at 6:00 a.m. NDT Sunday.

Forecast values are combined wind wave and swell heights. Highest
waves may be more than twice forecast values. Wave heights may vary
considerably due to shoreline and depth effects.

Strait of Belle Isle - eastern half.
Seas 3 to 5 metres subsiding to 3 late overnight and to 2 late Sunday
morning.

Strait of Belle Isle - western half
Northeast Gulf.
Seas 4 to 6 metres subsiding to 3 to 4 late overnight and to 2 to 3
near noon Sunday.

Gulf - Port au Port.
Seas 5 metres subsiding to 2 to 3 near noon Sunday.

Southwest Coast.
Seas 3 to 5 metres subsiding to 2 to 3 near midnight and to 1 to 2
Sunday afternoon.

South Coast
East Coast.
Seas 3 to 5 metres subsiding to 2 to 3 late overnight and to 1 to 2
near noon Sunday.

Northeast Coast.
Seas 3 to 4 metres subsiding to 2 to 3 Sunday morning and to 1 to 2
Sunday evening.

Belle Isle Bank - southwestern half.
Seas 5 to 7 metres subsiding to 3 to 5 near noon Sunday.

Belle Isle Bank - northeastern half.
Seas 6 to 8 metres building to 8 to 11 Sunday morning then subsiding
to 6 to 8 Sunday evening.

Funk Island Bank.
Seas 5 to 7 metres subsiding to 3 to 5 early Sunday morning.

Northern Grand Banks.
Seas 2 to 3 metres building to 3 to 5 this evening then subsiding to
2 to 3 late overnight.

Southeastern Grand Banks
Southwestern Grand Banks.
Seas 2 to 3 metres.
