Wave height forecasts for Pacific waters issued by Environment Canada
at 4:00 p.m. PDT Thursday 20 September 2018 for today tonight and
Friday.
The next scheduled forecast will be issued at 4:00 a.m. PDT Friday.

Forecast values are combined wind wave and swell heights. Highest
waves may be more than twice forecast values. Wave heights may vary
considerably due to shoreline and depth effects.

West Coast Vancouver Island North.
Seas 2 metres.

West Coast Vancouver Island South.
Seas 1 to 2 metres building to 2 to 3 early this evening.

Queen Charlotte Sound.
Seas 2 metres building to 2 to 3 early this evening then subsiding to
1 near noon Friday except 2 over western sections.

Central Coast from McInnes Island to Pine Island.
Seas 1 metre building to 1 to 2 early this evening then subsiding to
1 near noon Friday.

Hecate Strait
Dixon Entrance East.
Seas 1 metre or less.

Dixon Entrance West.
Seas 1 metre building to 1 to 2 Friday evening.

West Coast Haida Gwaii.
Seas 1 metre building to 1 to 2 early this evening.

Bowie.
Seas 1 metre except 2 over southern sections tonight. Seas building
to 2 early Friday morning.

Explorer.
Seas 2 metres building to 2 to 3 early this evening and to 3 to 4
early Friday morning.
