Wave height forecasts for Pacific waters issued by Environment Canada
at 4:00 p.m. PST Sunday 9 December 2018 for today tonight and Monday.
The next scheduled forecast will be issued at 4:00 a.m. PST Monday.

Forecast values are combined wind wave and swell heights. Highest
waves may be more than twice forecast values. Wave heights may vary
considerably due to shoreline and depth effects.

West Coast Vancouver Island North.
Seas 3 to 5 metres subsiding to 3 to 4 late overnight then building
to 5 to 7 Monday afternoon.

West Coast Vancouver Island South.
Seas 3 to 5 metres subsiding to 3 to 4 late overnight.

Queen Charlotte Sound.
Seas 5 to 7 metres subsiding to 3 to 5 early this evening and to 4
late overnight. Seas building to 5 to 7 near noon Monday.

Central Coast from McInnes Island to Pine Island.
Seas 3 to 5 metres subsiding to 3 near midnight then building to 5 to
7 Monday afternoon.

Hecate Strait - northern half.
Seas 3 to 4 metres subsiding to 2 this evening then building to 3 to
5 Monday morning. Seas building to 5 to 7 Monday afternoon.

Hecate Strait - southern half.
Seas 3 to 4 metres building to 5 to 7 near noon Monday.

Dixon Entrance East.
Seas 2 metres building to 3 to 5 late Monday morning.

Dixon Entrance West - west of Langara.
Seas 4 metres building to 5 to 7 early Monday morning.

Dixon Entrance West - east of Langara.
Seas 3 metres building to 3 to 5 early Monday morning.

West Coast Haida Gwaii - northern half.
Seas 3 to 5 metres building to 5 to 7 early Monday morning.

West Coast Haida Gwaii - southern half.
Seas 5 metres subsiding to 4 this evening then building to 5 to 7
Monday morning.

Bowie - northern half.
Seas 4 metres building to 5 to 7 late overnight.

Bowie - southern half.
Seas 5 to 7 metres subsiding to 3 to 5 this evening then building to
4 to 6 early Monday morning.

Explorer - northwestern half.
Seas 4 to 6 metres subsiding to 4 late overnight then building to 5
near noon Monday.

Explorer - southeastern half.
