Wave height forecasts for the Maritimes issued by Environment Canada
at 5:00 p.m. AST Wednesday 12 December 2018 for tonight and Thursday.
The next scheduled forecast will be issued at 5:00 a.m. AST Thursday.

Forecast values are combined wind wave and swell heights. Highest
waves may be more than twice forecast values. Wave heights may vary
considerably due to shoreline and depth effects.

Fundy
Grand Manan.
Seas 1 to 2 metres subsiding to 1 or less near noon Thursday.

Lurcher
Browns Bank.
Seas 2 to 3 metres subsiding to 1 to 2 late Thursday morning.

Georges Bank
West Scotian Slope.
Seas 2 metres building to 3 to 4 this evening then subsiding to 2 to
3 Thursday morning. Seas subsiding to 1 to 2 Thursday evening.

Southwestern Shore
Eastern Shore
Fourchu.
Seas 1 to 2 metres building to 2 to 3 late this evening then
subsiding to 1 to 2 Thursday evening.

LaHave Bank
Sable.
Seas 1 to 2 metres building to 2 to 3 this evening and to 3 to 4
after midnight. Seas subsiding to 2 to 3 Thursday afternoon.

East Scotian Slope.
Seas 2 to 3 metres building to 3 to 5 this evening then subsiding to
2 to 3 Thursday evening.

Banquereau - northwestern half
Cabot Strait.
Seas 1 to 2 metres building to 2 to 3 this evening and to 3 to 4
after midnight. Seas subsiding to 2 to 3 Thursday afternoon.

Banquereau - southeastern half.
Seas 3 to 5 metres.

Laurentian Fan - western half.
Seas 3 to 5 metres.

Laurentian Fan - eastern half.
Seas 5 to 7 metres subsiding to 3 to 5 late overnight.

Gulf - Magdalen.
Seas 3 to 4 metres subsiding to 2 Thursday morning.

Anticosti.
Seas 2 to 3 metres subsiding to 1 to 2 Thursday morning then building
to 2 to 3 Thursday evening.
