Wave height forecasts for the Maritimes issued by Environment Canada
at 5:00 a.m. ADT Friday 24 April 2026 for today tonight and Saturday.
The next scheduled forecast will be issued at 5:00 p.m. ADT.

Forecast values are combined wind wave and swell heights. Highest
waves may be more than twice forecast values. Wave heights may vary
considerably due to shoreline and depth effects.

Fundy
Grand Manan.
Seas 1 metre or less.

Lurcher
Browns Bank.
Seas 1 metre building to 1 to 2 this morning.

Georges Bank.
Seas 1 to 2 metres building to 2 to 3 Saturday morning.

Southwestern Shore
Eastern Shore.
Seas 1 metre or less building to 1 to 2 near midnight.

LaHave Bank
Sable - western half.
Seas 1 metre or less building to 1 to 2 this afternoon and to 2 to 3
near noon Saturday.

West Scotian Slope.
Seas 1 to 2 metres building to 2 to 3 near midnight.

Sable - eastern half.
Seas 1 metre or less building to 1 to 2 this afternoon and to 2 to 3
near midnight.

East Scotian Slope - northern half.
Seas 1 metre building to 1 to 2 this afternoon and to 2 to 3 near
midnight. Seas building to 3 to 4 Saturday afternoon.

East Scotian Slope - southern half.
Seas 1 to 2 metres building to 2 to 3 this afternoon and to 3 to 4
Saturday afternoon.

Fourchu
Cabot Strait.
Seas 1 metre or less building to 1 to 2 this afternoon and to 2 to 3
this evening.

Banquereau - western half.
Seas 1 metre building to 1 to 2 this morning and to 2 to 3 early this
evening.

Banquereau - eastern half.
Seas 1 to 2 metres building to 2 to 3 this morning and to 3 to 5 this
afternoon. Seas subsiding to 2 to 3 Saturday afternoon.

Laurentian Fan - northwestern half.
Seas 2 to 3 metres building to 3 to 4 this morning.

Laurentian Fan - southeastern half.
Seas 4 to 6 metres subsiding to 3 to 5 early this evening.

Gulf - Magdalen - eastern half
Anticosti - eastern half.
Seas 1 metre or less building to 1 to 2 this evening and to 2 to 3
late overnight.

Gulf - Magdalen - western half.
Seas 1 metre or less building to 1 to 2 this evening and to 2 to 3
Saturday morning.

Anticosti - western half.
Seas 1 metre or less building to 1 to 2 this evening.

      • Use the ↓ Down key to select the link below. If none are selected, it will select the last link.
      • Use the Page Up key to move a selection up in the list.
      • Use the Page Down key to move a selection down in the list.
