Wave height forecasts for the Maritimes issued by Environment Canada
at 5:00 a.m. ADT Wednesday 15 August 2018 for today tonight and
Thursday.
The next scheduled forecast will be issued at 5:00 p.m. ADT.

Forecast values are combined wind wave and swell heights. Highest
waves may be more than twice forecast values. Wave heights may vary
considerably due to shoreline and depth effects.

Fundy
Grand Manan.
Seas 1 metre or less.

Lurcher
Southwestern Shore
Eastern Shore - western half.
Seas 1 to 2 metres subsiding to 1 or less late overnight.

Browns Bank
Georges Bank
LaHave Bank
West Scotian Slope
Eastern Shore - eastern half
Sable
East Scotian Slope
Fourchu.
Seas 1 to 2 metres.

Banquereau
Laurentian Fan.
Seas 1 metre or less building to 1 to 2 near noon.

Cabot Strait.
Seas 1 to 2 metres subsiding to 1 or less Thursday morning then
building to 2 Thursday evening.

Gulf - Magdalen - southern half.
Seas 1 metre or less building to 1 to 2 Thursday afternoon.

Gulf - Magdalen - northern half.
Seas 1 to 2 metres subsiding to 1 or less this evening then building
to 1 to 2 Thursday morning. Seas building to 2 to 3 Thursday
afternoon.

Anticosti - southeastern half.
Seas 1 to 2 metres building to 2 to 3 Thursday morning.

Anticosti - northwestern half.
Seas 1 to 2 metres subsiding to 1 or less Thursday afternoon.
