Recreational boating forecasts for Lake of the Woods Lake Nipigon
North Channel Lake Nipissing and Lake Simcoe issued by Environment
Canada at 5:00 a.m. EDT Friday 22 June 2018 for today tonight and
Saturday.
The next scheduled forecast will be issued at 11:30 a.m. EDT.

Fog implies visibility less than 1 mile.

Winds are for mid lake. Nearshore winds may vary considerably due to
shoreline effects.

Note..The recreational boating forecast program is active from May 01
 to November 30.

Lake of the Woods.
Wind light becoming south 10 knots early this evening then becoming
 light after midnight. Wind becoming southeast 10 Saturday evening.
 Chance of showers late this afternoon and this evening with a risk
 of thunderstorms. Chance of showers Saturday afternoon and evening
 with a risk of thunderstorms.

Lake Nipigon.
Wind southwest 10 knots backing to south 10 early this morning then
 increasing to northeast 15 Saturday afternoon. Chance of showers
 late this afternoon and this evening with a risk of thunderstorms.
 Chance of showers Saturday afternoon and evening.

North Channel.
Wind light becoming northeast 10 knots early this morning then
 veering to east 10 early this evening. Wind veering to southeast 10
 Saturday afternoon. Chance of showers Saturday afternoon and
 evening.

Lake Nipissing.
Wind east 10 knots becoming light early this afternoon. Wind light
 tonight and Saturday. Chance of showers Saturday afternoon and
 evening.

Lake Simcoe.
Wind southeast 10 knots increasing to southeast 15 overnight then
 diminishing to east 10 Saturday evening. Chance of showers overnight
 and Saturday. Risk of thunderstorms Saturday afternoon and evening.
