Marine forecasts for Labrador issued by Environment Canada at
4:00 p.m. NDT Wednesday 15 August 2018 for tonight and Thursday.
The next scheduled forecast will be issued at 9:30 p.m. NDT.

Fog implies visibility less than 1 mile.

Lake Melville.
Wind north 20 knots diminishing to variable 10 to 15 near midnight.
 Wind variable 10 to 15 Thursday. Showers ending early this evening.

South Labrador Coast.
Wind northwest 25 knots veering to north 15 to 20 late overnight then
 diminishing to variable 10 to 15 Thursday morning. A few showers and
 fog patches ending late overnight with a risk of thunderstorms.

Mid Labrador Coast.
Wind northwest 25 knots diminishing to variable 10 to 15 near
 midnight then increasing to south 15 to 20 Thursday evening. Showers
 and fog patches ending this evening with a risk of thunderstorms.

North Labrador Coast.
Wind northwest 15 to 20 knots backing to west 15 near midnight then
 to southwest 15 to 20 Thursday evening.

South Labrador Sea.
Wind northeast 25 knots except southwest 20 over southeastern
 sections. Wind increasing to northwest 30 this evening then
 diminishing to northwest 15 to 20 late overnight. Wind becoming
 variable 15 near noon Thursday. Showers and fog patches ending this
 evening with a risk of thunderstorms.

Northwest Labrador Sea.
Wind variable 10 to 15 knots increasing to west 15 to 20 this evening
 then backing to south 15 to 20 Thursday evening. A few showers
 ending Thursday afternoon.

East Labrador Sea.
Wind variable 10 to 15 knots except east 20 over southern sections.
 Wind becoming northwest 20 this evening then backing to west 15
 Thursday afternoon. A few showers. Risk of thunderstorms late this
 afternoon and tonight.
