Ice forecasts for the Eastern and Northern Arctic issued by
Environment Canada at 11:00 a.m. EDT Saturday 23 June 2018 for today
tonight and Sunday.
The next scheduled forecasts will be issued at 11:00 a.m. Sunday.

Ice edge estimated from 5800N 5830W to 6140N 5935W to 6340N 5755W
then northeastwards. Sea ice west of the ice edge.

West Davis.
9 tenths first-year ice including 2 tenths old ice.

East Davis - southern half.
1 tenth first-year ice including a trace of old ice except 7 tenths
first-year ice including 1 tenth old ice in the northwest section.

East Davis - northern half.
7 tenths first-year ice including 1 tenth old ice.

Cumberland.
1 tenth first-year ice except 6 tenths first-year ice in the
northwestern and eastern sections. 9 plus tenths consolidated
first-year ice in most bays and inlets.

West Brevoort.
8 tenths first-year ice including 1 tenth old ice.

Central Brevoort - southern half.
Bergy water except 7 tenths first-year ice including a trace of old
ice in the extreme western section.

Central Brevoort - northern half.
Bergy water except 7 tenths first-year ice including a trace of old
ice in the northwestern section.

Northwest Labrador Sea.
Bergy water except 5 tenths first-year ice including a trace of old
ice in the extreme western section.

Frobisher Bay.
1 tenth first-year ice except 9 plus tenths consolidated first-year
ice along parts of the northern and western coasts.
