Heavy snow at times continues, with total amounts of 10 to 20 cm. Up to an additional 5 cm is expected in the Edmonton Metropolitan Region before the snow tapers off this evening. Up to an additional 10 cm is expected in northwestern Alberta before the snow tapers off Friday morning. Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become difficult to navigate due to accumulating snow. There may be a significant impact on rush hour traffic in urban areas.
