Significant snowfall is expected. Locations: Norman Bay to Lodge Bay and Eagle River. Time span: continuing until Thursday evening. Total snowfall: 10 to 20 cm. Remarks: Snow has begun over elevated portions of the Trans-Labrador Highway and is expected to begin later this evening in coastal areas. Similar storms in the past have caused: - hazardous driving conditions - school closures or delayed openings - cancellations of scheduled activities Motorists should be prepared for winter driving conditions.
