Strong winds continue. When: Now to midday Thursday. Where: Mainland valleys and inlets of the North and Central Coasts. Remarks: A significant fall storm continues to impact the B.C. Coast. An intense low pressure system lies approximately 450 km west of Vancouver Island. This low is forecast to move northwards tonight remaining offshore through the period. Inlets and valleys along the north and central coasts will continue to see very strong outflow conditions through Thursday. Winds will gradually ease through the day on Thursday as the area of low pressure weakens and moves further offshore. -Strong winds may down trees or cause tree limbs to break. -Be prepared for power outages. -Travel delays will be possible. -Secure loose outdoor objects. - Click on the "Organize shortcuts" button
- Select the link to delete
- Click on the "Delete" button to remove the link from the list
- Click on the "Close" button to save the change
Move a link up/down the list
- Click on the "Organize shortcuts" button
- Click and hold the link and move to new location in the list
- Click on the "Close" button to save the change
