Snowfall Warning in effect for:

Heavy snowfall is expected tonight in parts of Alberta. Precipitation will begin as a rain/snow mix this afternoon before changing to heavy snow this evening. General amounts of 5 to 10 cm are expected, but in a few localities upwards of 15 cm is possible. Snowfall amounts will be highly variable throughout the region. Snowfall will end by Wednesday morning. Rapidly accumulating snow could make travel difficult over some locations. Visibility may be suddenly reduced at times in heavy snow. Prepare for quickly changing and deteriorating travel conditions. Take frequent breaks and avoid strain when clearing snow.
