Winter Storm Warning in effect for:

Winter storm expected for Saturday and Sunday What: Snowfall amounts of 25 to 35 centimetres, high northeasterly winds reaching up to 90 kilometres per hour and blowing snow. When : Beginning this morning through Sunday morning. Where: Lower North Shore. Additional information: A rapidly developing low pressure system will cross the Maritimes today and affect Eastern Quebec. Conditions will gradually improve during the day on Sunday. Visibility will be suddenly reduced to near zero at times in heavy snow and blowing snow. Consider postponing non-essential travel until conditions improve. Prepare for quickly changing and deteriorating travel conditions. Please continue to monitor alerts and forecasts issued by Environment Canada.
