Snowfall Warning in effect for:
  • Pickle Lake - Cat Lake

Snowfall with total amounts of 15 to 20 cm is expected. Hazards: Total snowfall amounts of 15 to 20 cm. Peak snowfall rates of 2 to 4 cm per hour. Reduced visibility in areas of heavy snow and local blowing snow. Timing: Beginning Sunday evening and ending Monday morning. Discussion: Rain is expected to move into far northern Ontario Sunday, but should transition to snow Sunday evening as temperatures drop. In addition, increasing northeasterly winds gusting up to 60 km/h will result in areas of blowing snow. Conditions should improve Monday morning. Visibility may be suddenly reduced at times in heavy snow. Prepare for quickly changing and deteriorating travel conditions.
