Snowfall Warning in effect for:
  • Kananaskis Improvement District near Highwood House

Heavy snow with total snowfall amounts of 15 to 30 cm expected by Thursday afternoon over SW Alberta. Periods of light snow will transition to heavy snow later today for the central foothills, including the area from Nordegg to Sundre. Tonight, the heaviest snow forecast to fall over the foothills to the west and SW of the City of Calgary. The city of Calgary will see wet snow, with additional totals near 5 cm. Snowfall will end Thursday morning along the foothills west of Calgary, and by Thursday evening near the Canada-U.S. border, including for Pincher Creek and Waterton. Visibility may be suddenly reduced at times in heavy snow. Prepare for quickly changing and deteriorating travel conditions. Take frequent breaks and avoid strain when clearing snow.     • Use the Tab key to move to a button or link
    • Use the Enter key to click on buttons or links
    • Organize shortcuts navigation
      • Use the ↑ Up key to select the link above. If none are selected, it will select the first link.
