At 7:42 PM PDT, Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a line of severe thunderstorms capable of producing heavy rain. - A line of severe thunderstorms orientated in west - east direction 35 km north of Vernon is moving northeastward 30 km/h. Take immediate cover if a thunderstorm approaches. If outside, protect yourself from flying debris and hail. Severe thunderstorm warnings are issued when imminent or occurring thunderstorms are expected to produce damaging hail, wind or rain.
