Special Weather Statement in effect for:
  • Coquihalla Highway - Hope to Merritt

What: Wet flurries possible. When: Overnight tonight until Sunday morning. Where: Okanagan Connector - Merritt to Kelowna, Highway 3 - Paulson Summit to Kootenay Pass, Coquihalla Highway - Hope to Merritt, Coquihalla Highway - Merritt to Kamloops and Highway 3 - Princeton via Allison Pass. Additional information: An upper disturbance passing through the B.C. interior is expected to drop the snow levels overnight tonight to around 1500 meters. Snowfall accumulations will be minimal, from trace to 5 cm. Rising temperatures on Sunday will melt away the snow. Please be prepared to adjust your driving as weather conditions at high elevations may change quickly. Slow down and maintain a safe following distance. Weather in the mountains can change suddenly resulting in hazardous driving conditions. Road conditions are available at drivebc.ca.
