What: - Heavy rainfall possible near the shoreline. - Significant snowfall expected over higher terrain. - Strong to high northeasterly winds. - Risk of storm surge. When: From Saturday to Sunday. The strongest winds and the risk of storm surge are expected on Saturday evening. Additional information: a low pressure system will affect the Maritimes this weekend. However, precipitation amounts and maximum wind strength may vary depending on the track and intensity of the weather system.
