Fog Advisory in effect for:
  • Metro Vancouver - southwest including Richmond and Delta

Near zero visibility in fog is expected or occurring. Where: - Metro Vancouver - Fraser Valley - west including Abbotsford. When: This morning. Remark: A ridge of high pressure over southern B.C. is creating favourable conditions for the development of low cloud and dense fog. Areas of Metro Vancouver and near Mission currently have dense fog. Fog will slowly lift late this morning. Fog and low cloud may reform this evening. Visibility may be significantly and suddenly reduced to near zero. Travel is expected to be hazardous due to reduced visibility. If visibility is reduced while driving, turn on your lights and maintain a safe following distance. Fog advisories are issued when near zero visibilities in fog are expected or occurring.
