Winter Storm Warning in effect for:
  • Forillon National Park - Gaspé area

Winter storm expected for Saturday and Sunday What: Snowfall amounts of 20 to 30 centimetres, strong northwesterly winds and blowing snow. When : Beginning this morning through Sunday morning. Where: Northern coast of the Gaspé Peninsula, from Sainte-Anne-des-Monts to Forillon Park. Additional information: A rapidly developing low pressure system will cross the Maritimes today and affect Eastern Quebec. Conditions will gradually improve during the day on Sunday. Visibility will be suddenly reduced to near zero at times in heavy snow and blowing snow. Consider postponing non-essential travel until conditions improve. Prepare for quickly changing and deteriorating travel conditions. Please continue to monitor alerts and forecasts issued by Environment Canada.
