Strong and gusty southeast winds are expected. Where: Greater Victoria Southern Gulf Islands Impacts: - High winds may toss loose objects or cause tree branches to break. - High winds may result in power outages and fallen tree branches. - High winds might impact travel plans. Remarks: A strong Pacific frontal system will arrive southern B.C. on Sunday morning. Strong and gusty southeast winds will pick up in the afternoon, reach the peak strength in the late afternoon hours and diminish in the evening.
