Freezing rain tonight. What: Several hours of freezing rain possibly giving between 5 and 10 millimetres of ice accretion. Ice accretion amounts may reach 15 millimetres over the Mont-Laurier and Parc National du Mont-Tremblant areas. When: This evening and overnight tonight. Where: Western and Central Quebec. Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become icy and slippery. Ice build-up may cause tree branches to break. Be prepared to adjust your driving with changing road conditions. Freezing rain warnings are issued when rain falling in sub-zero temperatures creates ice build-up and icy surfaces.
