Freezing rain What: Several hours of freezing rain possibly giving between 5 and 10 millimetres of ice accretion. The amount of freezing precipitation may reach 15 millimetres over the Témiscamingue area. When: Through tonight. Where: Southern and Southwestern Quebec. Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become icy and slippery. Ice build-up may cause tree branches to break. Be prepared to adjust your driving with changing road conditions. Freezing rain warnings are issued when rain falling in sub-zero temperatures creates ice build-up and icy surfaces.
