Rain at times heavy this weekend. What: Total rainfall amounts of 30 to 50 millimetres are expected, with local amounts potentially reaching up to 60 millimetres. When: From Saturday morning to Sunday Where: Western and central Quebec. Additional information: Rain will contribute to accelerated snowmelt in areas with any remaining snow cover, as well as a significant increase in the flow and level of some streams and rivers. Localized flooding in low-lying areas is possible. Watch for possible washouts near rivers, creeks and culverts. Rainfall warnings are issued when significant rainfall is expected.
