Higher than normal water levels are expected. Locations: north and east facing coastlines along the Gulf of St. Lawrence. Time frame: near high tide Saturday afternoon into the evening. Remarks: strong east to northeast winds and low atmospheric pressure will cause higher than normal water levels and rough and pounding surf to coincide with Saturday's high tide. Some coastal erosion is possible. The highest risk is for the western part of northern Prince Edward Island, Please continue to monitor alerts and forecasts issued by Environment Canada.
