Freezing Rain Warning in effect for:
  • Kings County P.E.I.

Freezing rain is expected or occurring. Duration: near 4 hours. Location: Queens and Kings Counties. Time span: overnight tonight. Remarks: Snow will transition through ice pellets to freezing rain and persist for several hours before tapering off to drizzle or freezing drizzle early on Monday. Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become icy and slippery. Ice build-up may cause tree branches to break. Freezing rain warnings are issued when rain falling in sub-zero temperatures creates ice build-up and icy surfaces. Please continue to monitor alerts and forecasts issued by Environment Canada.
