Rain at times heavy this weekend. What: Rainfall amounts ranging from 25 to 40 millimetres are expected with up to 50 millimetres locally. When: From Friday evening until Sunday morning. Where: Western Quebec, from Témiscamingue to Parc du Mont-Tremblant Additional information: The rain will contribute to accelerated snowmelt in areas where snow is still present, as well as a significant increase in the flow and level of some rivers. Localized flooding in low-lying areas is possible. Watch for possible washouts near rivers, creeks and culverts. Rainfall warnings are issued when significant rainfall is expected.
