Gusty northwesterly winds resulting in continuing impacts from the ice storm. What: Northwesterly winds gusting 40 to 50 km/h. Additional damage to trees and utilities possible. When: Continuing through early this evening. Additional information: The ice storm has left a thick coating of ice on trees and surfaces. Strong wind gusts may result in further impacts from falling tree branches. Temperatures may rise to just above the freezing mark today for areas east of Sault Ste. Marie near to the North Channel, but will fall below freezing again this evening. Please continue to monitor alerts and forecasts issued by Environment Canada.
