Remarks: Rain will intensify tonight across southwestern Nova Scotia and move east overnight, reaching the eastern half of the province by Tuesday morning. The highest accumulations are expected to occur along the Atlantic coast on Tuesday. Heavy downpours can cause flash floods and water pooling on roads. Localized flooding in low-lying areas is possible. Rainfall warnings are issued when significant rainfall is expected. Please continue to monitor alerts and forecasts issued by Environment Canada.
