Special Weather Statement in effect for:
  • Fundy National Park

A wintery mix with an extended period of freezing rain is expected. Locations: New Brunswick Total snow and ice pellets: 2 to 5 cm over southern NB. 10 to 15 cm over northern NB. Duration of freezing rain: Possibly greater than 4 hours over many areas. Time span: Sunday evening until Monday evening. Remarks: A warm front will track across New Brunswick Sunday night into Monday. Precipitation will begin as snow Sunday evening then transition to ice pellets then to freezing rain and finally to rain on Monday. An extended period of freezing rain is possible which could lead to difficult driving conditions. A freezing rain warning may be issued for some parts of New Brunswick as the event draws near.
