Special Weather Statement in effect for:
  • Low - Wakefield area

Another weather system will bring significant precipitations over almost the entire province on Thursday. Freezing rain is expected to develop Wednesday evening over Western and Southern Quebec, then over Central Quebec Thursday morning. The freezing rain will gradually change to rain during the day Thursday. Further north, significant snowfall amounts are expected. Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become icy and slippery. Ice accretion could cause broken tree limbs. Please adjust your driving to changing road conditions. Quickly accumulating snow will make travel difficult. Please continue to monitor alerts and forecasts issued by Environment Canada.
