Special Weather Statement in effect for:

Another weather system will bring a mix of precipitation over much of the province on Thursday. A few centimetres of snow are possible at first, than freezing rain is expected to develop overnight Wednesday into Thursday over Southwestern Quebec and reach Central Quebec Thursday morning. The freezing rain will gradually change to rain during the day on Thursday. Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become icy and slippery. Ice accretion could cause broken tree limbs. Please continue to monitor alerts and forecasts issued by Environment Canada.
