Extreme Cold Warning in effect for:
  • Belleville - Quinte West - Eastern Northumberland County

A period of very cold wind chills is expected. Temperatures have dropped quicker than anticipated this evening. The colder temperatures in combination with the winds is leading to wind chill values near minus 30. The wind chill values will moderate Sunday morning. Extreme cold puts everyone at risk. Dress warmly. Dress in layers that you can remove if you get too warm. The outer layer should be wind resistant. Synthetic and wool fabrics provide good insulation. Cover up. Frostbite can develop within minutes on exposed skin, especially with wind chill. Please continue to monitor alerts and forecasts issued by Environment Canada.     • Use the Tab key to move to a button or link
    • Use the Enter key to click on buttons or links
    • Organize shortcuts navigation
      • Use the ↑ Up key to select the link above. If none are selected, it will select the first link.
